Michigan Public Transportation Action PAC
The Michigan Public Transportation Action PAC is an independent Political Action Committee (PAC) that helps support candidates that will support the work of our local public transit agencies. The PAC is non-partisan and contributes to candidates on both sides of the aisle in key positions.
The PAC is regularly supported by MPTA staff, board members, and friends of public transportation who believe in having a collective voice for our work. When taken together, even small contributions can help ensure that your voice is heard. Pursuant to state law, PAC contributions may only be made by individuals - not corporations - and are not considered deductible for tax reasons.
We encourage you to consider a contribution of any size on either a one-time or recurring basis; please also consider supporting the MPTA PAC through our fundraiser at the annual Michigan Public Transportation Conference and golf outing.
